I'm with JohnnyQwest on many of his comments: I'm no expert on colouring, but I'd say you do need to finish certain things, such as the light effect from the street lamp in the background.

With my editor's hat on, I'd say composition wise it's good, but I'd favor a more dynamic posture, although I know that sometimes isn't typical for Spawn, slightly crouching maybe - not too much - as if he's about to go into action, prompting the reader of the comic to think 'Hey! What's he going up against?'

The cape is also an issue for me -- it seems to be going off at all angles rather than complementing and drawing the eye toward the character. Use the cape to focus the reader.

Great start on this one! I'm sure you're not finished, but I'll add a few suggestions, 7 to be exact.

1. I like the green glow reflections you got going this time (compared to [link]). Personally, I wouldnt erase his hand, maybe just make it a darker green?

2. I know I've said this one before... Highlights! Add another blank layer, use white, go to town!

3. I know this isnt a Duo with Cheeks' "Kuta" in Bastion land... (for those that arent familiar with that ref, floating islands is what I'm referring to). Get some flames up under there, after-all, the sign says "HELL". Lots of cool fire brushes you can use. Fire is bright, dont forget to reflect properly.

4. I would add a lot more texturing in the dirt and grass... maybe even burn the grass towards the edges. Less green.

5. I'd add more to the background, possibly fade it up to a sky blue at the top or maybe something to imply it was heaven... lights etc.

6. Light house... er... I mean, street lamp... Not the way I would've done the lighting on that, but if I were you, at least take it past his legs... and behind his chain, then blur and fade it a bit.

7. His cape, highlights for sure, but maybe even experiment with some texturing, or as many would say... dirty it up a bit.
