You're a talented colorist :) You'll have to show me sometime! I'm putting the very first piece I've ever colored soon and when I compare it to ones like this I get a little embarrassed but I have to learn so I'll post it and take all the criticism I can get! :) Gorgeous work by the way.

thanks very much for the appreciation of my work i really do appreciate it, as for being embarrassed... you should never be embarrassed about anything you do, if you try your best that is all that matters but understand it takes alot of time and practice and even more practice with a dash of patience before it ever feels like you are not embarrassed to post something shit i still get ummm i would rather say worried that people won't like my work to this day. but i look at everything i do as a learning process and if i can come out of each one learning something new whether that be good or bad it don't matter but if i come out learning something i am very happy.

sometimes i have found the best way to learn is hearing good honest "constructive critiques" from people willing to take the time and effort to help you improve your skill level, cause as you start progressing in this you will find haha sometimes after working on a piece for a while and in your eyes it looks just great and you post and get nothing but negative feed-back sometimes you need fresh eyes on it cause sometimes the image you color and the image you see in your mind's eye may start to ummm bleed together but in reality they are quite different... step back or minimize the piece or simply ask for help you be surprised some ppl are always willing to help if they have the time..

thank you once again i sincerely glad you like my work

I like your way of thinking. Very true. I guess embarrassed is a strong word, I'm not in it for competition or anything like that. I just recognize that I'm a complete newbie and there is just so much talent here on DA that it can be...overwhelming. But at the same time that's what I love about it. My colors might suck in comparison but I worked at them and put them out there that's all that matters :)
You're right it's exactly when I step back and look at it that I realize it's not the masterpiece it shapes up to be in my head but I guess if you stare at it long enough anything is a masterpiece ;)

Thanks for your awesome reply, my first colored piece will be out soon I promise!
